The Story, Briefly

Lt. Paris and Neelix falls into a conflict subjected to the feelings toward Kes. Then a field trip required a cooperation of both. Then the struggle, which is a birth of a reptilian species (parturition), bridges Neelix and Paris and make them discover a solution and being light on each other.

Thoughts

• A fight never became solid, it shall be dissolved peacefully and by opening characters’ inner perspectives and being honest to each other. That’s my Star Trek!
• My GF tells me, Janeway is an impressive captain. I agree, she’s wonderful.
• Neelix and Paris has a fun way of fighting verbally, the metaphors uses became laughter moments while watching.
• While imagining Neelix’s recipes before the confrontation and after the resolution, make us distant to eating or drinking something. Neelix shall have more humanoid tastes.
• At the end, a simple, basic Star Trek episodes, which tells us a story of a connected team.

Fun Moments

• When captain calls Neelix and Paris, their appearance with spaghetti was funny because of Janeway’s question and his gestures and mimics; captain tells, “do you guys have a personal problem”… Janeway, isn’t it obvious?
• And Kim’s practice on instrument, he is barely able to differentiate between sad and calm pieces.
• Neelix’s mom-like behavior toward reptilian, and Paris claims Neelix as godfather then godmother, was a smile-trigger.
